Snowboarder - Snowboard Mountaineering

Ask Rafael
If you could spend a day with any other SMITH athlete, who would it be and why?
It would be any of the surf athletes, I spend too much time in the cold, dark and windy parts of the mountains with way too much gear on. It would be nice to spend some time wearing just a bathing suit, sunnies and go surf in the nice warm sun.
What is your biggest fear or achilles heel?
I’m scared of heights.
If you weren't an incredible athlete, what would you be?
I would dedicate more time to filmmaking & land conservation.
What is your favorite SMITH product and why?
Code helmet, keeps my brain as safe as possible. 4D Mag Goggles & Embark sunnies not only to keep my eyes safe, but to be able to see everything with the Chromapop lenses.
What are 5 things you can't leave home without?
Water, dog treats, a ski strap, emergency snacks, phone.
If you could have 1 super-power, what would it be?
The power to rewind nature in the snap of a finger.
