This ski/snowboard lens is the first of its kind, putting color-enhancing dyes (ChromaPop™) and photochromic technology into a single lens. This is a lens that can be used in any conditions and allows the rider to focus on their skiing/riding, rather than their lens selection.
How Does ChromaPop™ Pro PhotoChromic Work in the Cold?
Our proprietary blend of ChromaPop™ dyes & photochromic technology is specially designed to perform in freezing temperatures. This winter formulation is designed to react to visible and UV light, not temperatures, so it can adapt to changing light conditions even more quickly.
What Conditions Can I Use a ChromaPop™ Pro PhotoChromic Lens In?
The ChromaPop™ Pro PhotoChromic lenses are particularly formulated to have bigger VLT swings. VLT stands for visible light transmission, how much light the lens lets through. This all-new lens boasts a category shift from 1 to 3, or 55% – 16% VLT. This wider category range means that you can face an even wider variety of conditions than before.
