Today was pretty damn cool... I went into this contest with the sole intention of going big and having fun... I was able to share the final with one of my long time heroes brettsimpson and also witnessed young San Clemente wondergirl sawyerlindblad win her first ever QS event!
The last few months have been full of ups and downs, personally and professionally, but today was a great reminder of learning to trust the process... I want to dedicate this win to my Grandfather Steve who passed away a few short months ago... he loved to watch surfing and I was feeling his stoke today⚡️
Thank you to everyone who reached out and sent positive messages, I can’t wait to see where the rest of this year goes🖤

After an incredible training session with exciting new announcements, they whisked us away to pick out a new pair of sunnies! Of course I chose smithoptics #duh! 😉 Along with champagne, cheese, nuts and lamb chops. They seriously spoil us rotten!! 😎
