About Greg

What can we say about GVA that hasn’t already been said other than he’s one the most decorated cyclists to come out of the ranks in recent years. Greg spent his final year as a professional cyclist on the Smith sponsored AG2R cycling team, we have to think that his love for the product came from his time racing with this French squad. 2024 will be his first year as a privateer gravel racer, but with a stack of quick results in his favor, it’s safe to say we’re excited to see where this new adventure takes him.

Ask Greg

What's your go-to coffee shop order?

Flat White with a cheesecake

Favorite Belgian cycling snack? Or just snack in general?

Mattentaarten. Really delicious and worthy to try out when you are in Belgium or Merveilleux but that’s not really cycling snack :-)

What’s the craziest thing or feeling that comes with winning an Olympic Gold Medal? Or even Paris Roubaix!

That people always remember you at it and they still know the exact location where they watched the race.

One thing that you’ll miss about the Tour de France this year?

The atmosphere and people next to the road, somehow also the pressure to perform

What's your favorite race you’ve done that no one has heard of?

Tour of Luxemburg, small race but nice parcours and not too many transfers and beautiful tarmac.

You’ve now made the shift over to racing gravel, what’s one thing you have discovered about it that you like?

The adventure of being out there somewhere on a local gravel road.

Where is one place you’ve never been that you’d like to visit with your bike?

Costa Rica
